Decent selection, minor hiccup

I bought a few bottles of Low Sulfite Wine and a couple of their Wine Accessories, specifically an aerator. The wine itself was good, and the aerator works well. Shipping took about a week, which was a bit longer than I hoped, but not terrible. One of the bottles was slightly warm when it arrived, but it cooled down fine. Overall, a solid experience with a good selection of organic wines, though a little quicker shipping or better temperature control would make it even better.

Liked the gift basket

I needed a gift for my sister's birthday, and she's really into organic stuff, so I grabbed one of their Wine Gift Baskets. It looked pretty nice online, and it was even better in person. I think you can customize club shipments, or at least you could when I was subscribed last year. Worth checking their FAQ, but I remember swapping out a white wine for a red once.

how long does shipping usually take to get to California? need some wine for a party next weekend.

From my experience, it's usually pretty quick for CA, like 3-5 business days. But with wine, you gotta factor in if you order at the end of the week. Plus someone needs to sign for it.

Mine took about 4 days to get to LA last month. Might be cutting it close for next weekend if you order on a Thursday or Friday.

Yep, definitely. It's alcohol, so an adult has to sign for it. They won't just leave it on your porch.

Are their 'no sulfite added' wines actually totally sulfite-free, or is it just like, really low sulfites?

From what I understand, 'no sulfites added' means they don't add any extra sulfites during the winemaking process. All wines have naturally occurring sulfites, but these ones don't have the added stuff. So not 'zero', but very minimal.

It's the added ones that people react to. So yeah, 'no added sulfites' is usually what you want if you're sensitive.
